Summary: University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine submits a fair set of policies with the UMDNJ system wide policies serving as more restrictive in most cases. Disclosure to patients is required. No formal contract is required for outside employment. The panel discussion on conflicts of interest is an adequate curricular approach to addressing conflicts of interest albeit without an outline.

Demographics: On average students spend 40% of their training at Kennedy University Hospital, 40% at Lourdes Health System, and 10% at South Jersey Healthcare. Submitted policies include the medical school policy which applies to students and faculty and the policies of Principal Hospital, Kennedy University Hospital and Lourdes Health System.
