Commentary:The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine's policies include pre-approval for outside activities. Funds provided for on-site and off-site activities are to be utilized outside of industry control, and recipients of scholarships/trainee funds are required to be chosen independent of industry influence. This policy could be improved by implementing a stronger gift & meals policy. The disclosure, samples and industry reps policies also represent areas for development, as they are currently non-existent.
Updates: This institution did not provide any new or additional for the 2012-13 AMSA PharmFree Scorecard. This institution's evaluation was last updated: 12/06/2010 This institution has not indicated consent to allow the public posting of their policies.
